Kim began his professional career in the San Francisco Bay area in still-life photography, developing his elegant compositional and photographic skills. He then migrated to Denver, Colorado where he established a successful fashion advertising studio which prospered for over 8 years. In this capacity, Kim has incorporated celebrity portraits, fashion accessory and cosmetic illustration photography into his impressive set of skills.
Kim's clients include Target Corp., Coldwater Creek, Lifefitness, Citicorp/Citibank, Jim Beam, Disney, Timex, Warner Brothers, Musicland, Aveda, Lee Jeans, Welch's Foods, Healthy Choice, Bloomingdales, Johns Manville, Fisher Price and Coach Leather among others.
Working as a professional photographer from San Francisco to New York to Milan, from Tommy Tune on Broadway to a mountain top villa in the rain forests of St. Croix, Kim has had many challenging and fascinating assignments.
Prior to relocating to Santa Barbara, California, Kim spent three years in Minneapolis and eight years in New York City developing a commanding presence and extensive client base.
New horizons include branching out in digital video production shooting television commercials and other interesting multimedia projects. In partnership with colleagues and crew members, the fledgling production company, Deadline Films, will be a new venture for Kim in the 2010.
